研究内容
 <研究内容> 薬物の腸管吸収および体内動態は、経口投与製剤の有効性と安全性に大きく影響します。当教室では、飲んで効く薬の開発と適正使用に必要な技術と知識を身に付けること、クリアランス臓器(肝臓および腎臓)における薬物排泄タンパク質の機能を分子レベルにて解析し、各種疾患の適正な薬物療法の確立を目指しています。また、肝臓は薬物代謝の主要臓器であり、多くの代謝酵素が肝臓に存在しています。肝臓にける様々な薬物代謝酵素の機能を解明し、酵素の変動要因を明らかにすることを目指します。 <研究室からのメッセージ>  薬物動態学とは薬物輸送と薬物代謝から成る、他の理系学部にはない薬学部独自の学問です。昨今、医師・看護師・薬剤師によるチーム医療の重要性が取り上げられていますが、今後ますます高度化する医療の質を支えるのは、薬物動態学を身に付けた薬剤師です。研究室での研究成果をベットサイドに届ける研究をすることで、指導的立場になれる薬剤師を育成していくことが役目であると感じています。また、製薬企業の研究職・臨床開発職にて活躍できる人材輩出にも力を注いでいます。
