The goal of the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences is to develop graduates with a higher level of expertise to comply with the requirements of the medical field and industry.
In the 4-year Doctoral Course in Major of Pharmaceutical Sciences, based on the 6-year Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, students can commit to advanced and practical education and research, also receiving 6 months of practical training as a pharmacist in a hospital.
The Major of Pharmaceutical Life Sciences Master's Course (2-year course) was established as a major based on the undergraduate program in the Department of Pharmaceutical Life Sciences (4-year course), and is divided into 2 courses, the Drug Discovery Science Course and the Life Science Course, allowing student s to obtain a master's degree through education and research integrating the knowledge and technology in life science and drug discovery science. Students are able to obtain doctoral degrees in the Major of Pharmaceutical Life Sciences Doctoral Course (3-year course).
The Major of Pharmaceutical Sciences aims to train pharmacists and researchers who have both the clinical ability to apply advanced specialized knowledge and skills in the medical field, and the research ability to solve various clinical issues from a pharmaceutical perspective, with ""clinical"" as the keyword.
The Master's Course of Pharmaceutical Life Sciences is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to conduct research in the life sciences, including drug discovery science, and to foster a diverse range of researchers and other professionals.
The purpose of this program is to train researchers and engineers capable of acquiring advanced specialized knowledge and skills, and carrying out research and development on their own initiative.
